Bozeman Public Library (Large Conference Room)
12 Noon - 2 PM
Saturday, December 6, 2008

Buffalo Allies of Bozeman invites you to join us for a 2-part event at the Bozeman Public Library at 12 Noon.

Part 1 is a basic primer on what's happening in the Yellowstone area with the buffalo populations. Why are they being slaughtered and hazed, who is behind it, why, and what's being done about it?

It will feature a short movie and provide information for those who want to be educated on the situation.

***
We hope you can stick around for Part 2.

Part 2 is for people who want to do something about the situation. Buffalo Allies of Bozeman plans sometime early next year to organize volunteers to join Buffalo Field Campaign in the field as they work to protect these buffalo. The talk is a brief introduction on what it's like to volunteer with Buffalo Field Campaign, how local residents can give a little or a lot of their time, and what it takes to get involved.

This is in preparation for a car pool for Bozemanites down to Buffalo Field Campaign to undergo the necessary training to empower us to help Yellowstone's buffalo. We are still nailing down a date, but we expect to go down in January.

If you want to learn more, and more importantly, if you want to do something about this, please join us for our event.
